I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in practice for more than 12 years, during which Iāve helped over 1,000 people on their health journeys. IĀ am a menopause specialist, member of the Menopause Society, with 100's of hours of education in menopause and over a decade in managing menopausal care for women. I also specialize in metabolism and digestive complaints.Ā Over the years Iāve found that, regardless of the general state of someoneās health, they all need help with nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress.Ā
In addition to my medical career, Iāve been an avid outdoorswoman for most o my life. I have spent many years participating in a wide variety of outdoor sports for both business and pleasure, including surfing, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, snowboarding, backcountry splitboarding, and more.Ā
I know firsthand the importance of optimizing nutrition, incorporating structured exercise regimens, managing stress, and prioritizing sleep to achieve and maintain optimal health. I have dedicated my life to learning how to improve my own health and the health of others. I love learning about my body and how to prioritize its needs so that I can enjoy a high quality of life for many more years to comeāand I want to share that knowledge with you!
I created the North Star Guide to ThriveĀ programs to empower you to take charge of your menopausal journey and become your own mini menopause expert. I felt limited by what could be accomplished in the context of one-on-one doctorsā visits, aware that much more support is needed forĀ women to thrive through this unique phase of life.
