I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in practice for more than 8 years, during which I’ve helped over 1,000 people on their health journeys. I have been specializing in metabolism, digestion, and hormone balance because those are the most common areas of need in the people I see. Over the years I’ve found that, regardless of the general state of someone’s health, they all need help with nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress.
I created this program to empower you to take charge of your own health and well-being in a new way. I felt limited by what could be accomplished in the context of one-on-one doctors’ visits, aware that much more support is needed for patients to establish new habits that will make better health for them a reality. This online course is just that: a step-by-step guide to creating a healthy lifestyle for yourself and your family. I truly want to set you up for success as best I know how!

WEEK 1
Metabolism Processes and Your Body
Week 1 features 8 lessons teaching you what metabolism is and how it relates to inflammation. You will gain insights into how blood sugar works in your body so that you can understand how to balance it better. You will learn methods for training your body to burn fat as fuel, ways to improve your resting metabolism, and essential truths about calorie restriction. We will also cover body-image issues and how you can love your body while still wanting some aspects of it to change. In the last module, you will establish goals for the program and come up with ways to track the changes you would like to see.
WEEK 2
Micronutrients, Macronutrients, and You
Week 2 contains 9 modules where you will learn the most important lesson of all: how to balance macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats and protein). This is foundational to balancing blood sugar, reducing inflammation, and supporting metabolism. By learning how to balance your macronutrients, it will be easier than you ever thought possible. Discussions on food quality and maximizing nutrient dense whole foods will be essential for meeting your health goals. You will learn additional nutrition guidelines that will support healthy digestion, decrease cholesterol, reduce sugar cravings, and more!
WEEK 3
Nutrition Beyond the Basics
Week 3 consists of 11 lessons where you will learn tools for sticking with your nutrition goals when dining out, traveling, and indulging. You will learn how caffeine affects your metabolism and stress responses, and how water and alcohol affect your metabolism. You will get up-to-date information on intermittent fasting and learn how being an athlete might affect your macronutrient goals. You will also receive tips for planning meals combined with a fillable meal-planning template to help you stay on track.
WEEK 4
Exercise for Your Best Life
Week 4 offers 9 lessons covering the ways in which different exercises—including strength training, low- and high-intensity cardio, NEAT movement, stretching, and rest—affect your body and metabolism. This will help you prioritize exercises according to your goals. You will then establish exercise goals and come up with ideas for implementing movement into your daily life. You will further learn about fasted workouts and exercise nutrition so that you can achieve maximal gains from your effort.
WEEK 5
Stress, Sleep, and Review
Week 5 comprises 6 lessons that will explain how stress impacts your hormones, health, and metabolism. You will learn about different stress-reduction techniques and figure out how to incorporate them into your daily life. You’ll also learn strategies for getting a good night’s sleep to support your health and metabolism even more! Finally, we will review the material you have learned so far, and you will decide on your future goals moving forward.
